Anthony J. Costa, MD is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, Fellowship Trained in Adult Reconstruction. Dr. Costa brings an expertise in adult joint replacement primarily focusing on hip and knee disorders as well as lower extremity trauma.
Dr. Costa received his Bachelors of Science degree, with honors, from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. He received his medical degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School, Newark, NJ and continued on at UMDNJ for his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery. Following residency, Dr. Costa completed his fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at Florida Orthopaedic Institute, Adult Reconstruction Division.
Currently, Dr. Costa serves at the Director of the Joint Replacement Center of Excellence at Riverview Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Costa has lectured at many venues regarding the various aspects of living with arthritis and its treatments.
