Robert Borzio, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in computer-navigated, minimally invasive anterior approach total hip and knee replacements and revisions. He also provides general orthopaedic care and treatment of fractures in the upper and lower extremities in his commitment to improving patients’ lives at Orthocenter, in which he has three locations in Red Bank, Morganville, and Holmdel, New Jersey.

Dr. Borzio grew up in the Middletown area and earned his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School Rutgers, where he graduated in the 1st quintile with the distinction of acceptance into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. He went on to specialize in hip and knee replacement with a fellowship in adult reconstruction at New York University and Insall Scott Kelly® Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.

Dr. Borzio is dedicated to improving the field of orthopaedic surgery, serving as a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and publishing in several well-regarded journals, such as the Journal of Orthopaedic Research and International Orthopaedics.
